Rachel graduated from Cambridge in 1999 and after working for four years in general practice she moved to the University of Liverpool to undertake a residency in cardiology. She became a specialist in veterinary cardiology in 2008 and after a period of time in a busy referral hospital, Rachel moved to the University of Nottingham as Associate Professor in Cardiology. During the last decade Rachel has lectured internationally, been involved in numerous research studies and published widely in the veterinary literature.
Rachel has previously been the secretary for the European society of Veterinary Cardiology and is the current supplements editor for the Journal of Small Animal Practice. Rachel hosts a weekly cardiology clinic at North Wales Veterinary Referrals.
